We arrived in Kota Kinabalu to be greeted by Jacquie and transported to Sepitang, about a 2 hour drive from KK. It was late afternoon when we pulled into the KFC parking lot and the sun was low in the western horizon...

Caroline and Ramle, whom we had never met, graciously invited us to spend a night in the guest house located on their palm oil plantation...meeting them and the entire experience at their plantation was truly one of the highlights of our trip
