"No money, no honey"

Cambodian street kids, exploited by their own parents, deprived of schooling, taught street smarts, cons, scams, and charm-them-with cuteness tactics designed to tug at your heart strings, smother foreign tourists like flies on a rotting piece of meat.

These street smart pre-school vendors and urchins speak better English than so-called tour guides. 4 and 6 year olds without formal schooling but  already having 2 to 4years "working experience" and smarter than a whip, have practiced responses ready for your every objection.

With eyes like hawks, they pounce in droves if you reach for your wallet. J.P. Barnum said that there's a sucker born every minute...I am living proof of that.

This little fella got Mrs Mundain to buy his wares even though beforehand I swore that I wouldn't loosen my wallet to such tactics...oh well, consider it charity...
